Jeff Mitchell

Los Angeles Kings • Detroit Jr Red Wings

A third-round pick of the Los Angeles Kings, Mitchell played for the then-Detroit Junior Red Wings (now the Plymouth Whalers/Flint Firebirds) for three seasons before a professional career that spanned the NHL, AHL, IHL and ECHL. The Wayne native was named the ECHL All-Star Game MVP in 2000, and he won an AHL championship with the St. John Flames in 2002. Jeff has more than 25 years of hockey coaching and training experience.

Geoff Bennetts

Ferris State Bulldogs

A fixture of Suburban Hockey Schools for more than 25 years, Bennetts has trained thousands of young hockey players during his time with SHS. A four-year letter-winner with the Ferris State Bulldogs during the days of the CCHA, Bennetts now serves as head coach of the HoneyBaked 14U girls program and the director of the HoneyBaked Girls Hockey Program.

Ryan Pardoski

New Jersey Devils • University of Michigan

Pardoski - a University of Michigan alum under the great Red Berenson - has more than 30 years of hockey coaching and training experience. A draft pick of the New Jersey Devils, he now works as the general manager of the Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester. Pardoski coached at the University of Illinois-Chicago before now guiding youth teams in Metro Detroit.

Cal McGowan

Minnesota North Stars • Kamloop Blazers

A Minnesota North Stars draft pick, McGowan played six years of professional hockey within the Stars’ organization and two years in Germany. He is also an alum of the WHL, having played for the Kamloops Blazers before entering the professional ranks. McGowan  has coached and trained young hockey players for more than 20 years.

Andie Anastos

Boston College

Anastos, a native of Farmington Hills, Mich., has years of on-ice instructing experience and served as a two-time captain during her four-year hockey career at Boston College, the program’s first in a decade. A rare two-sport college athlete at BC, she also captained the Eagles for one year of women’s basketball, while getting her master’s degree in leadership/administration.

Mike Ferratino

Michigan State

Ferrantino, a Plymouth, Mich. native, brings years of NCAA, ECHL and AHL playing experience, leadership and knowledge that will complement the Suburban Hockey instructors and staff. Ferrantino served as a two-time captain during his time at Michigan State (where he studied finance) before playing for the Toledo Walleye, Florida Everblades and Charlotte Checkers in the pro ranks.
