Suburban Ice-Macomb to celebrate grand opening in
August

Two-sheet facility to hold free event open to the public

Suburban Ice-Macomb will hold a Grand Opening Celebration that is open to the public on
Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 am-6:00 pm. The building officially opens for business
today, with various Suburban Hockey Schools running through the first two weeks of
August.

The grand opening will feature open skating and skate rental, food and drinks, hockey
skate sharpening courtesy of B&R Sports (the on-site pro shop), photos with the Olympia
(ice resurfacer) and great raffle prizes throughout the day. The public is invited to attend
free of charge.

In addition to Suburban Hockey Schools, registration is also underway for fall programs at
Suburban Ice-Macomb, including Learn to Skate, Suburban FUNdamental Hockey (Learn to
Play Hockey), the Macomb Hockey Club and Adult Hockey Leagues.
