Suburban Sports Group hires former Carolina Hurricane to Management Team at Suburban Ice - East Lansing

Rucinski brings wealth of hockey experience

Suburban Sports Group of Farmington Hills, Mich., has hired Mike Rucinski as assistant manager at Suburban Ice - East Lansing in East Lansing, Michigan.

Rucinski served as an instructor and coach for Suburban Hockey Schools from 1993-2001. He received his Associates Degree from Henry Ford Community College in Criminal Justice and served as a Jackson City Police Officer from 2003 until 2006. The Trenton, Mich., native played 10 seasons of professional hockey with stints in the National Hockey League, American Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League, International Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League.

Suburban Sports Group has a combined 30 years of experience specializing in recreational ice arena consulting & management, programming, and sports & event marketing/communications.
