The ice arena features two NHL sized rinks. Originally constructed in 1971 with one indoor  rink and one outdoor rink. The second sheet of ice was enclosed in 1995 in part of a $3.5 million renovation. The arena received its namesake from John Lindell, who served as Royal Oak’s Director of Parks and Recreation for 16 years. The rink is home to the Royal Oak Hockey Club, New Edge Figure Skating Club, the Royal Oak Ravens High School Hockey Team and Shrine Knights High School Hockey Team.

The Novi Ice Arena opened in September 1998. This beautiful multi-surface facility offers two NHL-regulation sized ice sheets with seating capacities of 750 and 250, heated viewing areas, pro shop, two cafés, skate rental and space for meetings and parties. The arena offers eight large locker rooms, an officials room, a large figure skating dressing room and figure skating coaches dressing room. The facility is host to a variety of programs, including the Novi Youth Hockey Association, Skating Club of Novi, Novi High School and Northville High School hockey teams.

The Onyx Ice Arena has served as the home to many hockey leagues and skating acadmies, including the Rochester Hockey Club, Suburban FUNdamental Hockey, Onyx Learn to Skate Program, Onyx-Suburban Skating Academy. The Onyx is also the home arena for the Rochester United and Stoney Creek varsity high school teams, several high school "club hockey" teams and the men's Oakland University Golden Grizzlies

Ice Sport - East Lansing was a two-sheet, 90,000 square foot facility built in 1999 just off the Michigan State University campus.  The facility was purchased by Suburban Sports Group and the name changed to Suburban Ice - East Lansing. The facility hosts five high school teams, the Lansing Hockey Association and the Lansing Skating Club as well as a variety of tournaments, skating events.

Suburban Ice-Farmington Hills, located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is an ice arena and fitness club that was originally built as a tennis club in the 1970's. SIFH has two NHL-regulation sized ice sheets (200' x 85'), eight private dressing rooms, two officials rooms, heated viewing areas with full sound of the action, a pro shop, skate rental, concession stand, and a 3,500 square foot weight room and cardio area. The Fitness Club offers individual, family, team and corporate memberships, as well as team training programs.
